Little Duckling and Halloween in the neighborhood

Prismacolor pencils and pen. I remember all the ducklings I saw when I lived in FL. So precious.

Thank you Kristin and Eva for a marvelous time on Paint Party Friday. . .Be sure and visit as many of the artists as you can.  They are so talented and share that talent with us.  I wasn't able to visit many this week.  Sometimes unpacking makes it impossible to be on the computer much.

Thank you so much for visiting and commenting. I will make every effort to get around to see everyone and comment as much as I can.
Someone's GPS failed.
Squirrel. . uh oh, don't drop that on me.

Tracing Leaves

Thanks so much Eva and Kristin for allowing our creative spirits out for comments and advice. I appreciate the opportunity to visit, learn and teach others. Paint Party Friday is a wonderful school of varied artistic ways to approach Art. I have made so many friends and learned about so many ART techniques which has allowed me to grow in my own artistic style. Be sure to check out the artists at the above URL.

I decided to go back to my school days. I am finally living in an area where there are mostly large trees and large leaves go with them. I used a drawing pencil over tracing paper directly over the leaf.
The little red leaf I found last week was an exception.
The Red leaf.
Two horses in the pasture across the fence. . . fodder for sketching.

A Few of My Favorite Things

I Love the sunshine, Flowers, and Birds.
I used pastels and Prismacolor Pencils and a pen.  I've had a lot of boxes unpacked this week and things are beginning to go into place. It has been a long hard chore to move.  I am sorry I cannot get around to as many of you as I used to, but it will settle down at some point, yep, that is what I keep telling myself.

Thank you Kristin and Eva for making this opportunity (Paint Party Friday) available for artists to show and tell. There are so many wonderful artists who are so giving of their time and talent.

Thank you all who visit and take the time to leave comments. It is so helpful and heart-warming.

A few pictures of my new place in Tulsa, OK

The Pelican planter was in FL too.  I love the sounds of the fountain.
I have been a cloth doll maker. . .and she has been on my front door.
Oct. 1 will be my Halloween Offering.
Blessings,
Janet

Around the corner. . .Cat and Witch

Neighbors have started the Halloween fever already

I used Prismacolor pencils and pens. These two ACEO cards were made awhile ago, but after I saw the outdoor display. . .couldn't help but give out the reminder. Halloween is around the corner.
Thanks so much Eva and Kristin for this great Paint Party Friday place of all sorts of great artists to show their works.

Cat is pretty well seen. . Little witch is on the wall.

Water Color and Pastels togther. . .Birds and Clouds and I'm legitimate. . .

My Art this week.
I've been watching Jerry Yarnell a lot. .  I decided to try some of his techniques. This is what I call 'Practicing' . . .I used watercolor paints, then I added pastel (chalk) and went over that with water. It worked fantastically. I was amazed. Hadn't thought of doing that.  Then I added sand to the beach.
Thank you Kristin and Eva for a way to receive feedback and to show what we can do with different paint supplies.  There are so many many artists on this website that we can learn from and the feedback is so helpful. Take a look at the artists at Paint Party Friday. Thank you.
