This week I am using Soft Pastels

I love the way they work and how they feel.  I rub Q-tips over them after rubbing them on the paper. I used them on watercolor paper. And I used the prismacolor pencils. Sunset, palm tree on the beach and the ocean.

I then made an ACEO with prismacolor pencils.  She is a witch(lette) in training. Can't quite make the broom fly right side up.  Teens and young adults love to play with color in their hair.

Have some fun with the other artists on Paint Party Friday. It is fun and a total learning experience.

Blessings,
Janet

  5. What fun, Janet. Your pastel scene is so calming and lovely. And your piece with the upside down witch is delightful.

  8. Cute and yes they do like to color there hair. Sign of an artist...I know a few older people who do too....I have put in some pink and purple extensions...however not brave enough to make it permanent...albeit I would love to.
