Farm sketch and Doodles plus Crochet and young Dove.

The house has a turret because my daughter keeps saying she wants a castle.  I sketched it all and then used soft pastels to make it colorful.

The Doodles were sketched while the TV was on.

Thank you Kristin and Eva for the wonderful Paint Party Friday each week. So many creative artists share their work, art supplies and their knowledge.  We all learn from each other in a creative environment.

I've also been crocheting huge flowers. I will use them as decor, either for pillows, clothes or put them together as a scarf, valance. . .

When I arrived home, look what I found under the hedge.
Just a little one. .  .  very skittish.

Janet

  7. Beautiful needlework, Janet. And the farm scene is wonderful. I think a turret would be so exciting to have.

  9. What a cute little bird--I love the doilies you made, and I think it is wonderful you did put a castle turret on the house you drew, for your daughter. Nice!

  10. Enjoyed all of your creations here today. Your needlework reminds me of my younger days and my grandma teaching me how to crochet. I used to make Christmas ornaments when I was in Jr. High to make money so I could buy my family pressies. :)
