Owl in a Tree

About 5 years ago, I use to watch Molly and McGee and their little babies 24/7. I made a lot of online friends which we still gather once a week to watch old "Molly" and her babies movies on Molly Movie Night.  We catch up on what we are all doing, talk about what's going on and reminisce about the good old days.  Some have gone on to be with the Lord as has McGee.  There will be a reunion this summer in Minneapolis with some of the old crowd.  Our leaders will be there Carlos and Donna Royal to celebrate the The Owl Box of San Marcos. The MOD (Molly Obsessive Disorder) Meet up will celebrate the Owl Box. Because it was online, it became Internationally known and watched. It was a wonderful time for us all.

I drew one of the babies. I used pencil and pastels. My contribution for Paint Party Friday. Thank you Eva and Kristin for a party that transcends the usual.  Be sure and visit the varied artists to learn, see and become a part of this wonderful group of talented artists.
Blessings,
Janet

Old Doll

Once upon a time my two daughters had a doll they named Betsy.  I decided to draw her. The dress had been made by my grandmother. . .not the original.  Her hair had been 'cut' by one of my daughters and one eye droops a bit. She has been well loved.  My daughter thought it was a good rendition of her. (I still have her.) Both of my daughters have children of their own that are almost all grown. It has been awhile . . she was put away. Once I found her I brought her out. At the time, I was making cloth dolls.

I used Prismacolor pencils, Pitt pen and pan pastels.

Thank you Kristin and Eva for artistic fun and a learning experience on Paint Party Friday. Be sure and see what the other artists have waiting for you.

Blessings,
Janet

Plant and Yellow Cottage

I experimented with watercolor pencils, acrylic and covered everything with glitter. I  had a dream about the plant, but then every chance I get I paint the Yellow Cottage I'm looking for.

Thank you Eva and Kristin for Paint Party Friday where all of us artists have a chance to show off, teach, and learn so much about art, design and supplies.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and leave a comment. I appreciate everyone of you.

Blessings,
Janet
