Mixed Media Doll

I used Crochet thread, scraps, cotton, Pen, Pastels, and glue. She is ready for a party.  She is in a small journal. . .which is where I have been putting all my recent Art.  She is an experiment in faces.

My very First Cloth Doll (she was a doll already made; I added the decor/hair etc).
 My first Bead Doll.
My retired Grandma Tart cloth doll (from scratch).
Thank you Kristin and Eva . . as each week we artists have a known place to go to show our creativity, share our thoughts, and Keep the Art Faith. Paint Party Friday is a place where people can learn, share and be as creative as they want to be.
PS: Not sure about a visit from Erika (hurricane) so, not sure how many days w/o power!!!!!
Blessings,
Janet

Cowgirls and boys

I love Bull-riding and Rodeos
So I decided to draw a Cowgirl and Cowboy and a bull.  Pastels and Prismacolor. However, I once was a cowgirl when I worked for Illinois State University Auditorium. We had a Country singer on our stage. So we all dressed up.  It was a very fun evening.
Thank you Eva and Kristin for a wonderful Paint Party Friday for all of us creative artists. Please visit the other creative and varied artists.  Have Fun.
Blessings,
Janet

Line up your Ducks in a row

As they all follow mama Duck. . .there's always one. . .getting into the dirt pile . . .

I used Prismacolor pencil and pastels.

 Mama and Ducklings in pictures.

Thank you Kristin and Eva for Paint Party Friday each week. The creativity among the artists are exceptional.

Lil' Witch Stirring the Pot and Pictures.

Still in the Halloween mode. . .have to strike will the iron is hot. . .well, you know.

I used Prismacolor pencils and pastels. I've had her drawn for awhile, just hadn't added color. I did make cloth witch dolls a few years ago and those were fun. All their different personalities.

I've been walking again and the alligator has been there, but left.  Whew! Turtles are always all around him.

Nature is beautiful and interesting. . . I enjoy it so much.

Thank you Kristin and Eva for this wonderful week long Paint Party Friday. Be sure to visit all the wonderful creative artists.
Blessings,
Janet
Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.
