Yellow Cottage . . .Tree and Birds



 Mostly pastels and pencils . . .some ink.  Thank you for visiting, I haven't been able to see everyone's pictures. Thank you Kristin and Eva for having Paint Party Friday every week. It certainly keeps me on my toes.

 The Fountain with cold weather. . .iced over, but 
still was running. . . . .and. . . .

 . . .finally today some of the ice melted.
We are expecting single digit weather so
they may take the fountain down tomorrow.
 But even before the cold, we had 2" of snow.



 My kids made a snow man. . .a week later, it's still there.
Minx is watching me feed the squirrels.

Merry Christmas Monday

Log Cabin, Horses, Fence & Snow
 I had to try the new Inktense colors.. .. makes Great Snow. . .with Pastels and pencil. I love experimenting and Paint Party Friday is a great place to become familiar with what's out there and how to use it. Everyone is so wonderful and helpful. Plus the comments are enlightening and new things are always in the mix for me. Thank you Eva and Kristin.  . . .and a Special Thank you for visiting. . . I try to get to everyone each week.

 Barn, Picket fence. . .horses and 2 pastures.
 Sometimes a gal just wants to be left alone to eat her peanut.
 Minx on the buffet . . .ummmm Moms home,
don't be doing that.
 2 Horses in the back pasture with their coats on.
 Six on 6 only news helicopter in the area.
 I was out at night to catch the horse (foreground)
and there is Christmas decorations out.
 2 fighter jets going over.
 Red Bird in the bushes in the backyard.
 He came right up to me. . .
 . . .love this.

Yellow Cottage and large tree


 Trees, water and Yellow Cottage (yes that's a Palm behind the house. . .Pastels and Markers.  Thanks so much for visiting and I appreciate the comments so much. Things have gotten more hectic with the new Kittah. . .I will try to do better getting around to everyone.  Thank you Kristin and Eva for all the work you do toward giving us a place to show and receive comments at Paint Party Friday.

 All the horses have their coats on now.
 These 2 are in the back pasture.
 Baby girl is making noises at the birds. . .
 We had crime in our neighborhood and. . .
 . . .the helicopter was on duty for the local news channel.
 Someone put up their Christmas lights and the horse 
is outlined in front of them.
 15 degrees last week put ice on the  Fountain, but 
it continues to run.
 She looks like a Lynx . .she is such a Minx
so that's what I named her.  The leaf blowers
again are mking so much noise blowing them.

2 Squirrels and a Tree


 The tree was a stencil. . .I used pastels and prismacolor pencils. 2 Squirrels and their peanuts. . . this is a daily feeding.

Summer there are ducks here.
 My BabyGirl is in the window waiting for me to come
back from my picture taking.
Getting really cold here. . .20s and tonight 18 degrees. Grief.

Scrap (Marker testing) made into ART

The first picture I used different markers to see which one was almost out of ink (to re-order).. .. when I finished I saw a painting waiting to happen. . .Therefore it turned into this weeks ART project.

Thank you Paint Party Friday. . .Kristin and Eva.  It is a learning party for art supplies, videos, and comments which really help me know if I'm going in the right direction. I love the experimentation.
I try to visit as many and all of you that I can because I enjoy, learn and have fun.
New Kittah in town. . .couldn't get to as many this week as I'd like. Always pups, birds, or fish, never Kittahs. Learning experience here. . .Totally!
