I used Prismacolor pencils and pen. . . and Pastels. Finally finished another picture. It has become more urgent that I move out immediately.
Thanks so much Eva and Kristin for a wonderful learning experience with all the artists on Paint Party Friday.  Please take a look.

Squirrel knows every Saturday morning I bring unsalted Pistachios for his Breakfast.
Last Saturday, he was there before me (unusual) waiting.

Cat Lady painting, Aloe and Bromelaid plants, Moon, Sunrise and Woodstork

Ah, the cat lady painting, I finished it by adding a painting on her wall.  Yep, she's dreaming of a Yellow Cottage and a puppy too.  I did color her up a big more with pastels. The painting is with Prismacolor pencils, pen and Pastels.

The plants have come around. . .Whew.  My neighbor gave me food for them and all of them have come back.  The Bromelaid came back too with the food. She had been out back in the sun because of the painters. She had brown spots all over her. She's still recovering after over a year.

I still need to find the yellow cottage rather quickly. The neighbor came back permanently, but not the wife, and he has been re - remodeling for months. Keeps me from working (writing) albeit the painting is in the back room but it's beginning to be 90s.  Un-live-able. . . if anyone knows of a nice quiet area . . I can paint the cottage yellow if need be. . .Please let me know.

Thank you so much Kristin and Eva for a most invaluable place for everyone to show off their talent and teach others. The learning experience here is awesome. Happy Paint Party Friday.

Thank you so much for your comments. I appreciate each and every one of them.

Aloe is coming back.
Bromelaids aren't there yet, but they were totally brown too.
Clouds going over the moon the only night I could see it.
We are now in our rainy/stormy season. . .
.  .so much too many clouds.
We have the most beautiful Sunrises.
I love capturing them during my morning walks.
Look at who came and stood beside me. .  .
. .  Wood Stork in flight.  I didn't know he would do that.
Blessings,
Janet

New Art, Old Doll, Tree gone, Aloe Plant, Tree, Squirrel UPDATE

Dog Walking. . .I used pastels, Pencils and Ink for the Gal and her Bulldog. My daughter has finally moved and I have more time.  Not much more. . .I have 2 ladies and I see and take care of regularly. One of them will be 96 in mid-July. Her daughter has left her by herself and since we had been neighbors for many years, I feel that she needs the help, love and care that is no longer there for her.

Thank you Kristin and Eva for our wonderful Artists place to show off our art and try to teach others in this field.  Paint Party Friday has so many wonderful and varied artists to learn from. Be sure to visit them all.

This is a replica of my very first baby doll. She has a cloth body, bisque hands, legs, and head. . yep, she already has teeth. Her eyes clothes and her hair is molded to her head. I found her at an antique fair quite a few years ago.
The huge beautiful tree in my backyard shades my back room so that I am able to work there. Without the tree. . . it would be unbearably hot to work.  For the past 3 years we have had over 100 degrees all summer.  The huge windows allow for quite a bit of light into my workroom. The plants (tree my fiance had which is over 30 years old and potted. . .waiting to find a permanent place to plant it); the Aloe plant is beautifully green. . . However. . . .

The tree has been cut down. . .I have no shade and it is impossible to work in the back room at all even with the blinds closed. Not a chance I can open my blinds and look out as I work.

The birds and the squirrel have lost their homes.
Sad situation. . .time to move on for all of us.
This is the way she looks today.  I transplanted her to the front porch.
She is now in 2 pots.
. . and the Tree above, has been moved too. I do need bigger pots.

Not sure what the future holds. Both of my daughters are moving or have moved and it has become a nightmare. I do not want to go to Oklahoma .  .  . I feel that is more of a nightmare after watching 60 minutes last Sunday.  We'll have to wait and see where we can go from here.  By the way, too much sun on the Aloe plant has turned it totally brown and it is dying. We are only allowed 2 plants in front and 2 in back, but I will have to take my Aloe and put it in the front anyway. I can't move it so will need to transplant to another pot. It is a shame that anyone has to cut down trees. All trees, except Palms have been cut down in this community. We are sweltering.
Blessings,
Janet
