Who Remembers Little Lulu? Happy Valentines Day

I forgot her curls.

I decided to be whimsical. . and nostalgic.  Remember Little Lulu and her friend Tubby. . . and her shenanigans. I loved it all.  She has a heart necklace for Valentines Day.  I used Pastels and Pencils.

Thank you Kristin and Eva for a great artists party every Paint Party Friday.  You put on a great party with so many diversified creative artists.  It is a fun community, I learn about the latest art supplies and how and why to use them. . . .what's good, what's not so good and why.

Everyone is talking about that 4-letter word - I painted it.

This is not my Yellow Cottage, I just didn't know what other color to paint it. When my girlfriend said, 'We're only suppose to get 4 more inches' . . . !!!!  I knew she flipped out. I thought, OK that deserves a view.  .  . Here it is.

Pastels, Pan and stick; Prismacolor pencil, Faber-castell Pen, and Acrylics.

I am writing a book about Monsters. These are 3 of the characters in the book. However, I think I need to work on Becca.  Brad is another character yet to be drawn. He's the bully. Big Bad Brad.

I used various media, maps from an old map book, Pentel art markers, Faber-Castill pens, gesso, and ink pen. Fun project for the DLP Journal.

Journal Inside Cover Week 1

This is the inside cover for Week 1 . . . I still have to do my first page for Week 1 Goals. However, I am continuing my goals that I had for 2014.  The Yellow Cottage has been going on for quite a few years. God is in Charge and He will lead my pathway toward it or toward something Better.

I used wallpaper, scrapbook sheet (grass) and a portion of a calendar (Yellow cottage). I made the God is in Charge and the 2015, also the saying. . . 
Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It’s not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make. Period.

Thank you so much Eva and Kristin for being here every week at Paint Party Friday for those of us that need a creative space to play, to be with others of like minds, and to learn so much about the world of art through these great creative artists.

Journal Week 53 2014

Use the first letter of your name. I decided to spell it out JAnET in ART.  I used pastels and pen.  The cloud is gesso for texture.  Fun Project.  We have our assignment for 2015 and I picked up my Journal book 12/31.

I appreciate being able to be original for each of the assignments. It helps me be more creative to receive an assignment and then to use to make it my own.  After all, it is MY Documented Life Journal.

Thank you Eva and Kristin at the start of a New Year.  This is a creative, interesting, fun and wonderful site for meeting the most friendly teachers of art, patient and kind.
