Seven things about myself:

1.  I am grateful for this award and for all who have added me to their list of bloggers.

4.  I have 2 beautiful daughters, 6 wonderful grands, a sister and her family, and a 94 year old Daddy, Richard.

5. I have the best friends in the whole wide world who are Sisters to me.  You absolutely know who you are.

6. My faith in God is my foundation for living, creating, loving, and my dreams.  He guides me and right now I am looking at Cornwall UK as a destination.  But whatever he decides I know is best.

7. The owl box at Jill & Gary's place and their blog is awesome as is the Decorah Eagles. They give me the bit of nature that I need daily.  The chat is a close knit group that understands love, life and the needs of each other.

Wednesday

I am on a roll.  Another apron, however, this time I fancied it up with Lace.  What do you think??  I think I should find black lace, however, this gives an ambiance of frilly, girly and style.  Blessings, Janet

Tuesday Halloween Apron

My daughter cracks the whip and I get busy.  Tuesday I completed another Halloween apron - I found out it is Witch Anniversary on the other side of the world.  I am celebrating with them.  Blessings, Janet

Blue Bird in my backyard

You have to know by now I love birds.  This little blue bird was in my backyard as I was working at the sewing table and I had to share with you.  Remember this is through a screen and glass, so it's a bit hazy although the sun is shining.  Blessings, Janet

Hope Easter and Passover was a good one

Always family day - so far Grands are all still home.  We celebrated in Ft. Lauderdale with family, including 2 dogs and a cat.  Grandson learned new song by heart and played for family.  Chris will be graduating and going off to the Air Force this fall.  Kayla borrowed a dress for the prom.  Meg is the Volleyball Queen, Stephane makes watercolor or pastel pictures, and adorable characters.  Amanda draws, paints with makers and makes incredible videos.  Andrew is the wizard of IT, even Apple approves of him working on their products.  Blessings, Janet

                                                                   

Lunch

Received thank you's from St. Mary's Hospital for the 166 pillowcases we had all made for the sick children.  They loved them.  The pillowcases were made with love and prayers.  I made a big salad for lunch today.  Blessings, Janet

My Grandson has a birthday. Andrew is 20 today.  Tam manages a 20 candle rice krispie cake.  Fun and games, yep, he received a couple of games.  You are never to old for games, yep one was electronic (with batteries), gotcha, you that computer!!!  Old fashioned games.  The way it use to be.

Pillowcases completed 24

Time is up.  I ran out of time, but I did manage to complete 24 pillowcases.  Tomorrow I will turn them in at the ASG luncheon.  We also have to bring a sack with the worst material we have in the world, oh boy, I wouldn't want to be that person, I did manage to find charms, beads, trim, a zipper and extras, but. .. . . This is going to be fun!

Pillowcase update 3 more

Still steady on the pillowcases.  I have a full week though, don't know how many more I can do before Monday the 18th.  You do realize you can help too.  Any quilt shop that is participating will be glad to take your pillowcases.  There is a website with directions and patterns, All People Quilt.  This is a great way to get rid of your stash.  And why do we want to get rid of our stash. . . . . . to buy more fabric, of course. More pillowcases and little things

Hi, I seem to be never idle, just not updating the blog like I should. I have completed 7 more pillowcases for the cause.  I have also been making tiny appliques for some of my art quilts.  I love the Ocean, Palm Trees, birds and well, I am in Palm Tree country. I recently learned that the SW corner of Scotland and the south of England have Palm Trees.  Now there is a trip I have to make. Oh, but do notice the owl in the palm tree, just for Me.  I also have a hummer, but not the right flower for her. Blessings, Janet
