And on the west coast and far up the east coast there are Puffin's. According to Wikipedia Puffins have brightly colored beaks during breeding season. They feed primarily by diving in the water. They breed in large colonies on coastal cliffs or offshore islands, nesting in crevices among rocks or in burrows in the soil. They are found in the North Pacific Ocean and North Atlantic Ocean.

ReplyDeleteSuch an adorable painting. Everyone loves puffins. I remember when my daughter was in the 5th grade we went on a field trip to the National aquarium and the puffins were the one thing everyone wanted to see! :-)
