As an Adult, my first car was a Red 1961 Mercury Comet.

Everyone needs someone. . .I learned from my friend that having a doll friend is sometimes the only companion that can be related to especially in times of loneliness. I try to carry them with me so I can give them away as needed. I love to see their faces as they choose their doll.

My first real car was yellow! It was by no means a fancy car- it was such a little car my male friends called it a tinker toy. When it wouldn't go into reverse (which was a while) I would open the door and use my foot to push it out of parking spaces, etc. I felt like Fred Flintstone. Now, I am not that strong- it was just a little light car.

ReplyDeleteLove the yellow car, Janet. I had a 1973 Opel GT that was the color: rally gold. I loved that little car. I felt like I was wearing it. It had a stick shift and made the sounds that a high powered sports car makes, but it wasn't all that powerful.
