We all have choices. Which road do you choose? Sometimes, I want a yellow cottage by the sea and sometimes I want a farm. Which road do I choose?
I grew up in the midwest where farms were everywhere. I loved on the Intracoastal in SE FL and loved every minute of it. Torn between the two roads.
The storm, the barn, the field of purple flowers, the garden, the three trees, the Road, and the puffy single dandelion.
I used Prismacolor pencils for this ACEO.

ReplyDeleteWe lived on the Estuary of Jupiter River, just near the beach and loved it , and we live very close to the water here, but we are going for the farm down the track... tree change for us all the way... lovely drawing this week...xx

i completely understand where your coming from... so many wonderful roads to choose... it's sometimes hard which one to follow first! lovely representation of that idea!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, hard choice... both options hold memories and stories... love the dandelion - makes me think of care-free childhood, blowing dandelions without having to choose a road...yet.

Your art makes a good case for the farm but I am an ocean kind of person so I'm leaning for the ocean. But, hey,why limit yourself? What about both?
