A sweet drawing to remember him... my mushu loves the pool too much... as the weather is getting hotter he is taking to jumping in to cool himself off and then he comes and shakes all over the studio... going to be a long summer I think... have a great week...xx
So sorry to read about Yogi. Your portrait is a wonderful tribute to him. They are our family...and I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. ♥♥♥ Mary Mixed-Media Map Art
Oh, I'm so sorry! When we lost our Annie several months ago I found drawing and painting her helped me. I painted her doing what she loved best (playing at the beach) and imagined that was her doggy heaven.
I'm so sorry for your loss of Yogi. Anyone that loves animals knows they are like our children and the heartbreak of losing our beloved pets can be so painful. He's had an awfully good life with you I'm sure. Remember all the happy moments. Thanks for sharing at PPF.
God, family, and friends are most important. Crocheting art dolls for my nursing home friends and oldsters are a new challenge that I look forward to. Everyone needs someone. . .I learned from my friend that having a doll friend is sometimes the only companion that can be related to especially in times of loneliness. I try to carry them with me so I can give them away as needed. I love to see their faces as they choose their doll.
Very sweet. Beautiful memories for you!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you have lost Yogi. It's sad they don't live as long as people and we have to miss them so. Your tribute drawing is lovely.
