Clothes lines in France

This is a stone house with a gutter going directly into the rain barrel.  The parking (2 wooden trucks and a car) is beside the building and the clothes line can be reached from their window.  There are two separate clothes lines.  Interesting set up that I've never seen before. There are also shutters on either side of the window.

Enjoy Paint Party Friday.  Many artists and different art media.

Blessings,
Janet

  7. Europeans can even make something as a line of laundry flapping over a parked car look charming.

  17. You can find clothes lines like that all over Europe. Especially in old towns where living space is smaller. Great drawing!

  20. Painting a real scene makes us pay attention to details and discover things we could have missed. Nice blending of colours.
