ATC Class
I took an Artists Trading Card class last Saturday. I made 4 cards. Two of the cards already had watercolor painting on the background and another I had stamped the background with silver paint. I also used that silver paint with corrigated cardboard and put on one side of that same card (right middle) along with cutouts from a magazine. The top card has a doll house cutout and a lady dreamily looking at it. I also cut up another watercolor card and pasted it. I had never collaged ATC/ACEO's before. It was interesting and fun. We all just did whatever we wanted with what the teacher brought to class. The lower right is not my card. I only made the 4 you can see all of above.
The Paint Party Friday artists have given me so much information and confidence to try new and exciting art that I have never thought of before. Please go and see for yourself this great project of Eva and Kristin's.

Yellow Cottages by the Sea
I know it's the middle of winter, but doesn't this look tempting for next summer? I cannot stop drawing and painting these cottages. I used Faber-Castell PITT artists brushes.
Check out the other artists on Paint Party Friday. They all have a lot of advice and tips.

Little Girl's Playroom
I would love to have had a playroom like this. The dollhouse is a replica of what I did have. The Annie doll is not. She was left to guard the Doll House.
Be sure and go see the other artists of Paint Party Friday.

Dr. Who
As my art professor would say; 'Practice, Practice, Practice.
Exactly what I need to do to get this guy right.
But that's what I am doing. . . .I wanted to show a WIP . . . the picture is not quite right.
This is a pencil drawing. He's a bit too somber and looks too much older than he is in real life.
Please take a look at all the talented artists on Paint Party Friday. Each week we all come up with a different piece of art and it is exciting and interesting.
Blessings,
Janet
