ATC Class

I took an Artists Trading Card class last Saturday.  I made 4 cards.  Two of the cards already had watercolor painting on the background and another I had stamped the background with silver paint. I also used that silver paint with corrigated cardboard and put on one side of that same card (right middle) along with cutouts from a magazine.  The top card has a doll house cutout and a lady dreamily looking at it. I also cut up another watercolor card and pasted it.  I had never collaged ATC/ACEO's before. It was interesting and fun. We all just did whatever we wanted with what the teacher brought to class. The lower right  is not my card.  I only made the 4 you can see all of above.

The Paint Party Friday artists have given me so much information and confidence to try new and exciting art that I have never thought of before.  Please go and see for yourself this great project of Eva and Kristin's.

Enjoy the weekend, happy PPF, Annette x

  6. The ATC class sounds like a load of fun. I used to trade them so I know there are so many ways you can go with making them. You mentioned cutting up a watercolor card. I do that with watercolor paintings I'm not crazy about. Sometimes I can find one section that is nice and I'll cut that off to use in something else. Have a great weekend.

  7. It sounds like a fun class, Janet!
I'm so glad you have gained more confidence through PPF - We are so glad to have YOU there too!

  8. I like ATC's and think they will suit your style really well... they are so quick to do and are very satisfying to lay out on a table so you can see them all together... awesome...xx

  9. Aren't atc's fun? Been a while since I made any but remember enjoying it when I did! Yours are terrific! HPPF!
