Red tailed Hawk




This is a sketch with a bit of prismacolor pencil for color.  I am still sketching from the Bird Book . . BIRDS by Lee Hammond.

I am in the midst of redoing the whole living room guts and all, so I've been remiss in not getting around to everyone's blog.  I learn so much from all of you and enjoy your art and comments. Thank you.

    We have those around here. They keep the squirrel population down. Your illustration is marvelous. It captures the spirit of the hawk.
