On my daily walk in the mornings, I take a lot of pictures of clouds. I have attempted to do something different here. I put some water in some of them. . . not too sure what to do with them to make them look like clouds!!! It is, yes, the yellow cottage I'm still trying to find. . . this time it's on a farm. There's more corn beyond. . .
I used Prismacolor pencil and pens. It's 6x8 inches.
Be sure and take a look at what some of the other artists have come up with and what art supplies they are using on Paint Party Friday.
Blessings,
Janet
I am working on 4 more baby dolls. So I haven't had time to experiment this week.

Nice little sketch. I love working with prismacolor pencils. Happy PPF.
ReplyDeletethough the tree is green and the land is green.. my first thought was.. it's winterly.. maybe because of the colors...so soft...and a bit frosty--- beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHappy PPF ... hope that our winter here in Austria still waites a bit to come... want to spend autumn
Happy PPF

I could look at, paint, and take pictures of clouds all day every day. I enjoyed looking at your clouds tonight.
ReplyDeleteLovel< drawing, looks a pretty place to be. Valerie
ReplyDeleteI think just leaving them white gives them a cloud like appearance. I love the corn:)
ReplyDeleteClouds are sometimes an enigma. I usually paint or draw them with a 'flat' bottom and they are almost always in the 'negative' space - meaning I draw or paint the space around them. Good luck with your baby dolls :)
ReplyDeleteLovely drawing. Hope you find your yellow cottage soon. :)
ReplyDeleteI've painted clouds, but actually drawing them is a challenge. Lovely drawing! Happy PPF!
ReplyDeletelovely scenic sketch Janet. Happy PPF!
ReplyDeleteLovely sketch, you have captured the feel of a windy day, well done.
ReplyDeleteVery charming. I can definitely see the cloud shapes there. I, too find clouds very challenging!
ReplyDeleteLovely scene, you have definitely captured the wind Janet and have just seen your great dolls below, so talented, Annette x
ReplyDeleteMy mom loved clouds! Yours are lovely !
ReplyDeleteVery very sweetly done sketch :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet scene - I have trouble with clouds too. They are so amorphous and I always want to define their shape.
ReplyDeleteTo me they look like clouds .... Love the recurrence of your yellow cottage everywhere ...;-)
ReplyDeleteAnother sweet piece here! Thanks for your kind comments,
