New art supplies. . . Rainbow, Palm, Yellow Cottage


I used the Perfect Pearls Mist in Blue Smoke for background. It appears to be too dark. I used the Pan Pastels for the colors. . . and a marker for the outlines.  Just trying to play around with different types of supplies to see what pops out.

    Thanks for telling us what you used Janet. I am new to art journaling and the choice of mediums is fantastic and so exciting. I didn't know what I was missing when I was just concentrating on my watercolours. Glad to see you are enjoying your art still. Have a lovely summer. xx

    Nooo I don't think the background is too dark at all. That splash of color brings it all together. Very nice indeed.
