Yellow Cottage. . .Rain Storm

I never give up. . .still looking for my Yellow Cottage. . .I finally finished the art project (it was a cactus) I started about 6 months ago.  I used Pastels, acrylic, pencils, gel pen and eraser in tedious places.

Thank you Kristin and Eva for Paint Party Friday. I am learning so much from the other artists and their art supplies, ideas, plus videos. Thank you for sharing your tips, tricks and how to use some of the many art supplies I don't know about.

I also want to thank you for visiting and leaving comments. It is so helpful and encouraging.

Barn and horses across from my backyard.  This
horse is keeping me in his sights.
Their pasture is just over my fence. I love that it is so close.
The barn is also close to a house with a picket fence.
The second pasture is on the other side of the barn from me.
So beautiful in this neighborhood. . . .
Lots of trees and the picket fence. . .
 Moon, clouds and trees.
 Night time at the Fountain.
When you know your worth, no one can make you feel worthless.

  1. you live in such a beautiful area. I always do love the color of an old barn. Your yellow house is just the color I'd think of painting my house. I can't decide between a sunny yellow or a dark grey. Maybe if I ever win the lottery I'll do one one year and the other the next, lol. Happy PPF!

  2. Beautiful art and photos. Glad you are happy where you live, and hope you find that yellow cottage one day. Happy PPF, hugs, Valerie

  3. What a peaceful place to are so lucky...your little yellow cottage is sweet and hopefully it does you until you get your real cottage...xx

  4. There is so cam and peaceful atmosphere in your yellow house painting. Love it.
Thank you for great photos, too-
    Happy PPF xx

  5. Nice to see your little yellow cottage again and it's a lovely scene. I'd love to have horses living so close by . Thanks for visiting me. Typing while trying to keep my eye on the Tour de France at the same time:) Happy PPF!

  6. Love your dolls! I crocheted a bunch of Star Trek figures last Christmas.

  7. My new computer has a crazy quirk where the cursor on its own volition takes off and lands in odd sentences. I had typed a bunch but it has disappeared. I said that I remember the yellow cottage from a couple of years ago and this one is very lovely too. Thanks for sharing the horse photos. You live in a beautiful place.

  8. Lovely seeing your yellow house show up again in your work!! You are so blessed to live in such a beautiful area! I hope you are truly enjoying it!!

    Hugs Giggles

  9. You are just surrounded by so much beauty, I love it. I would be sketching the horses and barn and that picket fence! Checked out your dolls, they are awesome!

  10. Looking at your sweet little yellow cottage, I can almost open the door to find a warm cozy fire going and a chair just waiting for me beside it. Good job.

  12. Love your photos! Really nice and so many beautiful trees :)

  13. Congratulations on completing your yellow cottage piece, it can be so satisfying to complete something you've been working on for a while! The horses are beautiful too, how amazing to have a place so close to them.
