New Pillow umm New Dolly

Ok, so Tam wants 'her' pillow. So I made another one for Valentine. Hey, don't throw that pillow!!!  OK OK, I'll make you a dolly.  So, I made her a new Dolly. She appears to like it. Well, she will have to get use to it, she cannot have Tam's pillow. Blessings, Janet

Mummy made a new pillow for her daughter and I TOOK it.  It's mine, it is soo boootiful. it's MINE! Uh Oh, I think she found me!!!  Tam will not let you have that Valentine.  You have to give it back, I will make one of your very own. Come out from under there RIGHT NOW!!!! "V"

Valentine

Hi again,
Wanted to show my newest doll - Valentine. She is showing her knickers because she loves the lace and feels so special.  She isn't too happy she had to wait until I got back from the bus trip. Since it is 30 here, I had to wrap her up so she wouldn't freeze, although we all are freezing. The windows aren't made for this kind of 'gale' wind and the cold air (wind chill teens) is coming right through the windows.  I know my next fabric purchase WOOL for the drapes!!!  We didn't expect this nor for this long.  It's been since the end of December we've had temps like this -- without the wind, it would have been OK.  Blessings, Janet

Ft. Myers Quilt Show Bus Trip

North Ft. Myers has the best restaurant for Soft Shell Crabs - Pinchers Crab Shack. WHOA, what a great meal that was.  The Quilt show was also pretty fantastic. One of the quilts looked like a picture - you could almost smell the flowers, I wanted to just walk right into it.  The other quilt I'm showing you belong to my grandmother (well not these, but some things just exactly like them). Very interesting way to display our ancestors. We had a 1-day trip and managed to squeeze in a shop stop too. So much fun and with all the ladies that I've gone with before. Enjoy the pictures. Do you know where this is?

This is my dream. My Yellow Cottage on the ocean with garden, gazebo, lilac bush, sunflowers, grasses and garage/guest cottage. If you know where it is, I would love to see it in person. There are so many things to do, places to go and friends to see. 2010 Bring it on. Blessings, Janet

Happy New Year 2010

There are 2 more gals that have been handmade today.  Sunshine decided she didn't like the dress fabric I picked out, so she decided Sunflowers are better.  Therefore, she became Sunflower.  Lavender is so easy going and satisfied with everything, from her hair-do to her dress.  I crocheted a lace on their panties.  They both have striped socks.
