Paint Party Friday

My daughter hates this picture.  Possibly if I would use pastels, I could pull off the change of Night & Day. I'll try that next time.  I've used water color pencils.
Take a look at all the clever and wonderful PPF players.
Blessings,
Janet

  1. I am not here because of PPF, but came because I saw your comment Inspiration Ave. Since I've been through two horrible floods in my basement in the past three years due to broken pipes, I can empathize with your fear of water. And then I saw your water for PPF. I actually like this kind of water.

  4. The important thing is if you like the painting! Painting is all about colors and having fun and you seem to be doing that.

  6. For every person that hates a piece of art there is another person who loves it in equal measure! Art is so personal and subjective, judge your art by how it makes you feel. I really like the texture of your piece and the deep colors. Happy PPF!

  10. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I think this is beautiful. Light and dark are hard concepts to achieve but you are on the right path. If you like it and are happy then it has fulfilled it's purpose.

  11. Hi Janet, I like your painting and everyone is right, if you enjoyed the process and learned a thing or two from your painting then it was a success. :)

Happy PPF, a little late ;)
