Dr. Who


As my art professor would say; 'Practice, Practice, Practice.
Exactly what I need to do to get this guy right.
But that's what I am doing. . . .I wanted to show a WIP . . . the picture is not quite right.


This is a pencil drawing.  He's a bit too somber and looks too much older than he is in real life.

Please take a look at all the talented artists on Paint Party Friday.  Each week we all come up with a different piece of art and it is exciting and interesting.

  2. I like the looks of him. I make everyone look older than they are. I agree about practice! If only that it makes me draw looser and with more ease, less tension. HPPF!

  3. it can be hard to keep at it sometimes but i think there is a lot of great stuff going on in this so I am sure it will turn out beautifully...xx

  5. You've got a good start here. I can see Dr. Who in there already. Portraits do take a lot of practice but its so worth it, don't you think?

  6. For me it is sooo difficult to hust draw with pencil or caraocal ... I just need colors...

    the more I love it to see this fabulous portrait..men portraits are so difficult for me to do...
