I've been trying something new. I love the reflections in the water that I see as I walk.
I am trying to capture them. Truly difficult.
I had watched a couple of videos. The white acrylic is what I used to simulate the water.
Pictures (Photographs) below of each pic above.
Be sure to visit the other Paint Party Friday artists.

I find this very difficult to do, but you are heading in the right direction. Happy PPF, Annette x

I agree that it is difficult to paint reflections especially if they are distorted! I think you have done a good job and like your painting very much:) HPPF
ReplyDeleteYou have picked a very hard subject (reflections in water) to paint. You have a great start at it here. HPPF
ReplyDeleteJanet, I have trouble doing effective reflections. Your paintings are delightful and I am fascinated by the strange bird with pink feathers and a spoon bill. Is this a muscovy duck? One wound up on my front porch a week ago. I had never seen one before. "Mine" didn't have pink on it, though. Thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteGreat work on a difficult subject, but it's fun to work with blurs and shapes. There's a lot of vitality here. Keep painting!
ReplyDeleteWow. Reflections are tricky--better you than me! I love what you're doing so far!
