Lark and Cardinal

The photo that I was able to take in the backyard of a female eating at the bird feeder and the male on the fence watching over her. . .gave me the idea to include the Cardinal in the picture above. I used Prismacolor Pencils, ink and Pastels and gel pen.
Thank you Eva and Kristin for your fantastic place to play and show off and visit so many great artists at Paint Party Friday each week.  Thank you for all your comments, they help tremendously.

Fountain and bench at my end of the Court Yard.
Barn, Trees, Picket Fence across the street.
Weather vane, Blue Sky and shadows.
Squirrel chittering for his breakfast. . .
. . .another squirrel that has colors. . .red on back, brown
on bottom part and Blonde tail.
 Mid Court fountain and plants.
Side yard of house with Picket Fence.
Pasture on other side of Barn and side yard.
 Crescent moon.
Blessings,
Janet

  5. Your birds are delightful. I especially like the cardinal because I have so many here. Speaking of birds, they must have poor eyesight. I have had a bird or 2 hitting my windows almost every day for the last week or so. One killed himself on my front porch. PS...I love that beautiful fountain in your courtyard.
